Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Stanwood-Camano School District.

It's fun, flexible, and rewarding. Don’t take our word for it, watch the videos on this page that feature our local volunteers describing why they help out:

Volunteers provide a valuable service to our schools and the District appreciates the time, talent, commitment, and energy given by all volunteers.

All volunteers are required to go through a volunteer application and training process.

  1. Complete a volunteer application form, including the volunteer disclosure statement (Chapter 43.43 RCW) prior to volunteering. Once approved, your volunteer application is valid for two years from the date it is approved. It can be renewed by completing the application process again.

  2. Complete the online Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB) training. All volunteers must complete this training each school year to maintain their volunteer clearance. Access the online training HERE.

  3. Review the Volunteer Handbook. Complete and sign the Acknowledgement page.
