Scholarship Night 2024

Local students earn record amount of scholarships

Congratulations to the 148 students who received 286 scholarships from 122 donors during a ceremony Tuesday, May 29, in the Stanwood High Performing Arts Center.

The grand total of support that the Class of 2024 received from the community was a record breaking $320,390!

The scholarships were presented by the Stanwood Camano Area Foundation during the annual Scholarship Night event, which is also available to watch online.

SCAF, in partnership with Stanwood High School and the American Legion Post 92, awards scholarships that are sponsored by local individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Many are from endowments set up years ago by local families to create a perpetual annual scholarship in memory of a lost loved one. 

Any senior living within the Stanwood-Camano School District is eligible to apply, even if homeschooled or attending a private school.
