REPLACING STANWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

"A PLAN FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR STUDENTS”

Long-term investment in our schools:

  • No increase in tax rates - replaces the expiring School Facilities and Technology Levy.

  • Addresses the educational and technological demands of the 21st century.

  • Improves security and safety for students and staff by reducing the footprint of the existing school, eliminating nearly 80 exterior doors, and other security measures.

  • Eliminates physical barriers for handicapped students.

  • Eliminates the use of all 16 temporary portable classrooms.

  • Provides facilities to address student learning including appropriately designed classrooms, laboratories, shop areas, arts and drama, physical education, special education, community use, and other critical services.

  • Addresses the long-term needs of students attending Lincoln Hill High School/Lincoln Academy and Saratoga (parent-partner) School.

  • Uses existing site and improvements already paid for and useable.
